I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families. My treatment approach is tailored to the specific needs of those involved, with the goal of empowering clients to develop healthier coping strategies and improve emotional well-being. Using empirically based treatments, such as cognitive behavioral approaches, and emphasizing respect and kindness, are foundational to my work. A knowledge of clinical psychopharmacology facilitates collaborative efforts with families and other health care providers.
In addition to providing psychotherapy services, my practice includes neuropsychological assessments of children, adolescents, and young adults with a range of concerns, including attentional difficulties, learning differences, anxiety, and autism spectrum disorder. I also evaluate adults with suspected attentional difficulties and/or learning profile concerns.
I have served as a consultant to local public school systems, preschools, and independent schools. I have lectured on effective approaches for helping children with learning challenges in academic and public venues. My background includes published research on the neuropsychological substrates of reading disorders.
